When the “helpful hardware man” wants to host a weekend-long grand opening event, who do they trust with the job? Raspberry Communications, of course! To introduce local-area home owners and contractors to their new source for home repairs, a 3-day celebration was planned. A semiformal, invitation-only cocktail party at the Long Island Ace Hardware Store kicked off a weekend of festivities. The mayor presided over a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony and a fun-filled weekend for all ages followed. With activities such as glass-blowing exhibitions, face-painting, magicians, hot dogs, popcorn and soda, the store was buzzing from morning until night. ACE store owners reported records sales for the Grand Opening Weekend.
